What beer are you drinking now? #2146

Bad photo. Good beer. Technically this could be considered an NC beer since they have a plant in Mills River, NC.

 

Perfect beer to reset the palate after all the recent hops, although I may chase this with some hops.



Lagunita's Imperial Stout.

 

I buy the Pilsner regularly. It's great, in my opinion. If you ever get the chance, visit the brewery in Astoria. Right on the river and just beautiful inside and out while still being humble. Cheers!

 

Ok, this place was right up the street and had M43, so we stopped in. Old school bar look and feel. We’re the only ones on our side of the bar not drinking BMC, actually:


Definitely nailed the smooth, and there is a citrus juice aspect, but it’s missing some bite for my tastes.

 

Pleasantly surprised with this one. Bought a single cause I loved the name. Not a huge fan of the brewery.

 

I’m convinced they dump a few gallons of cream soda in this every year.

Zeke wants to play 24x7. I went on the deck to drink a beer and called him to come out. Before he did he grabbed the tennis ball hoping I would throw it and he would fetch it. Being on the third floor it was not a good idea.

initially bought a sixer, then another. Bought a 12 pack yesterday.

 

A coworker grabbed me a four pack of this colab from Trillium and Monkish. A little higher abv than I’m used to in an IPA, ringing in at 10%......delicious though, and dangerously drinkable!

 

12 hour workshift need beer now

 

If that beer and brewery made it from Minnesota to Mississippi and somehow skipped Indiana, you are all gonna see a grown man cry, because I can build a very good argument that I am the #1 Schell’s fanboy in the beer nerd world.

 

Another NC beer. Doing my part to support NC breweries while visiting this great state.

 

Big hops: check.

Thai spices: check.

Impeccably balanced: check.

Really enjoying this (if you couldn’t tell).

 

Picked this up at Other Half in Brooklyn today after spending the day in Brooklyn at a memorial.for my friend who was diagnosed with gliobastoma(brain cancer) 8 years ago and given 6 months to live. Great fight and cheers to u David. I will miss u. Cheers
