    True. The pack I bought was same date. I actually posted my displeasure as well on first beer. I picked this up again because its a stellar brew when fresh but with age still really great brew. It takes on a deeper, almost tropical and winey character to it. I felt when fresh this was one of my top/favorite beers of the year.
