Belgian yeast, roasted malt, semi-sweet dark fruits, maybe some cocoa? Pretty solid stuff. Still prefer the Blonde, but this is nice.

Thanks @GreenBayBA. Outstanding Irish red! Awesome head retention/soapy lacing, great clarity. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with light notes of toffee, roast, plum/pear/red apple yeast; herbal/grassy hops, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal, grassy, spicy hop; and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy/silky/bready malts; and slight sticky hops, chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying sweetness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 6%. Wow, they absolutely nailed this beer! Very clean and rich malt complexity; with mild fruity yeast and earthy hops against sweetness. One of the best IRA I've ever had, amazing style example. I could drink this all year. 4.18


New Stillwater sour Wild is the Will. First review as usual. Awesome! Nice head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red/green apple, white wine, passion fruit, papaya, mango, guava, berries, cedar, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tart/sourness, yeast/cedar spiciness, and light Brett tang on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and lactic acid in the mouthfeel; light tangy Brett and cedar tannins. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, no puckering. Very flavorful and pretty refreshing, 5%. Not overly lactic. Awesome balance of citrus/tropical hops, and Brett/Bacteria complexity; with a nice cedar presence, and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. They have been nailing the sours all the time lately. 4.1

I ordered Lakefront IPA. I watched the bartender pull the Lakefront IPA tap. This is not Lakefront IPA. It is a delicious, clean malty amber beer. Lakefront Riverwest Stein amber lager, if I had to guess, because (1) I watched them pour a beer of the exact appearance from the Riverwest Stein Tap, and (2) I have had both beers many times. Fortunately, they are both really good. I didn't want to make a stink about it and be that guy, because I save those moments for bad beer and dirty tap lines. The amber was great before the burger and fries arrived, but after I started eating, I thought the IPA would have been a better companion.

 

I've been looking forward to this moment for a looong time. Diagnosis delicious. a nice mix of heat and sweet...Im signin on this.
