I’d like to offer a witticism or post a funny meme, but this is serious stuff. I’m not a big “thoughts and prayers” guy, but this hurricane is no joke. I’m sending good vibes South and East. Be well, Carolinians.

 

I was recently porch bombed by one of our members. @Vidblain hit me with this awesome box:



He mentioned something about payback for him being my target in a different BIF, but as far as I see it, this was above and beyond. You are on the list Chris.

Found out my target is big on the “funk” so I got some good Texas heavy hitters ready to go. Also mixed with some lesser known breweries and Texas favorites!

I know, I haven't forgotten that you sent 2 assassins last round, I might need to even out your beer karma along with @Vidblain. You guys are due some beers!

 

You know I just looked back and I thought that cash only was pretty good. Granted I drank it in a tumbler, undercover at my daughter's soccer game, and it was 101 out. Anything would have been good at that point.

 

Just so long as you're aware of what you're getting yourself in to!

I definitely preferred Dad Jokes - and it would have been way more appropriate. Glad you enjoyed it! But, you have a point - any beer on a hot summer day, as they say.

Agreed completely. I've got a good friend in New Bern, and she has to stay because she's the public safety officer for the county. Looking at the pictures of the flooding, her car, parked at the county offices is likely toast already. The house she rents is in River Bend, and very close to the river, so it's likely toast. She also owns a house in Burgaw, that she rents out, which is right about where the mofo is going to hit.

Not good at all.

I need a beer.
