That's strange, all the Canadians I saw seemed to rank it an "Eh +".

Tonight I cracked a BA The Jones Dog from last year...and it's incredible. The bourbon / oak intensity has calmed, and now it's a vanilla, chocolate, oak & bourbon dream, with each flavor shining but not overpowering the others. The medium-thick, creamy mouthfeel is just about perfect.

Anyone that has a 2017 bottle resting in their cellar...I recommend you wake it up!! Next time this comes out I'll be buying more than the 2 I got last time.

Opened one of mine 2 weeks ago. Nothing off about it. It’s an absolute oaky bourbon bomb if that’s your jam (it’s definitely mine).

Back to VoL: first time trying it and it’s fantastic. Tried side-by-side with FSM and there’s no contest. Creamy full mouthfeel, low but present bitterness and the Mosaic dankness highlighted with tropical Galaxy. Very little alcohol presence. PW needs to make this as regularly as possible.

I found this week's batch of Infinite Galaxy to be more enjoyable than VoL. Just a preference, but the IG had a nice dryness to it that was completely balanced to make for a really easy drinking beer. Didn't take me too far to the sugary side or the fruity side. Everything was restrained as if waiting to burst out leaving you want another.

Infinite Galaxy is a home run of a beer.

Opened a 13 BA Jones dog next to a 17 about a week or 2 ago, both are absolutely incredible. The 13 is still phenomenal.

Anyone have any info on the 2 new cans being released tomorrow. Saw them on their website but did not see any info there or on their social media pages.

Little bit late to the game but I finally decided to grab Velocity of Light. Definitely enjoyed it. Nice tropical front with a good hop bite at the end. Medium mouthfeel and great carbonation. Reminded me a bit of Fire, Skulls & Money.

I went in with expectation of it being a solid NE IPA offering and not be the greatest NE IPA ever made, so in that sense it delivered on my expectations: very enjoyable option for that style in Chicagoland. I'd pick it up again and hope that they brew batches of it more frequently.

Still listed on the dojo website, and I didn't see them post anything on Instagram about it selling out?

Candians were definitely on to something (see few posts above or previous page). At least Pipeworks is handling it properly. I will likely open one tonight and check out for myself.
