It was weird. Not worth the trouble to acquire, IMHO.

 

Had a hard time staying awake to be honest

 

Good evening ,BAs! Doing some clean up in my basement that I've been working on all week. When it's finished I'll have added two walls, hung cabinets, painted errrything, and created a combo brew space/living area/shrine to the Detroit Tigers and Michigan breweries. Having a Maduro while scrubbing the floor.

 

Not a big fan of Oktoberfest or pumpkin ales. Sure I'll have a few for the season but actually I prefer more pilsners than märzen styles.




This ones quite tasty and on point

We are finally doing our 120 Minute vertical:


The GF and I like the May(?) 2015 the best - it’s the smoothest. The March 2018 and April 2016 that was aged in a wine cooler seem sweetest (though the 2016 actually has a slightly more bitterness, odddly). The September 2016 (literally cellared, but at inconsistent 70-ish temps) has the most oxidation that adds something to the mix. I’ll let @pretzyl04 tell you his thoughts (and maybe his wife’s) when he posts.

Yuengling Golden Pils. I'd suppose this is just a better AAL, a bit more hops, maybe, a better head with lacing, most definately.No way to compare it to a first rate Pils. For $2 more I can get Urquell, seems like a better buy.
