Day 1 of my 9 days off. Hit up the new Bosque Brewery to grab a pour and a 4 pack of their wet hopped Ipa, Acequia.

 

Work got in the way of my drinking this week. Tree House Hurricane, cheers!

Sierra Nevada's Southern Hemisphere Session IPA.

 

Earlier, lunch at the # Sheeps Brewing taproom Citra Slice IPA, an IPA w blood orange and Citra hops. Taproom was closed, sure is nice when one's son is the lead brewer and you get in and get free beer !

 

Feels like a fall afternoon, first Oktoberfest of the year. Cheers!

 

So this NEDIPA from Mayflower is really a nice and different beer. I know one of the reps that they let Brew this beer with along with a few other reps.

Rather awesome and interesting sour. Sour Danish cherries to be more specific.

last year we planted tomatoes in 36" tree boxes - 2 early girls and 2 better boys
come spring we see volunteers sprouting so we leave them and here is one of the results
but we never planted this species before so how'd it get here!

Hofbrau Oktoberfest

 

Kostritzer Schwarzbier 500ml can. Marked down to $1/can at my local distributor (Keller's) and as a lover of dark German beers (or biers, if you prefer) and after tasting the first can I ran back down and bought the other fourteen cans. As much as it frustrates me that so many people won't even try dark beers, times like this remind me how lucky I am to prefer them. "Why, yes, I will be happy to take these off your hands."
