It’s great paired with(of course) Indian and Thai food. Not sure about the variants, but they all sound tasty. It’s just a really fun beer.

I got home today to find a rather large box in the foyer, and if it wasn't for my 16yo it would still be sitting on the porch. So, yeah, the USPS decided to deliver Part 2 of the shipment from @Victory_Sabre1973 today, and now I can see why it took the extra time . (Part 1 was posted this past Saturday)
    The beers:

(that photo doesn't look as good here as it did on my phone, dammit. I focused it on the Hooey, too, and that's the only damn thing that looks good- how the hell did that happen?!!)

    And the swag:

This is a really great assortment, James! You really did hit on a bunch of my key styles (especially the O'fest, Saisons, even a new Brut IPA!), and I can't wait to try them all. And that "Swedish" Imperial Stout, Big Swede? I'm not sure exactly what that's about but I bet it's awesome. Those crowlers are really cool, too- I've never seen them with their own label before, so I guess those are popular with the locals and fresh as a daisy.

The only beer that I've had or even heard of is the Lakefront Pumpkin Lager, and I haven't had that since 1996 so it may as well be new to me :sunglasses:. I do love their Rum Barrel Imperial Pumpkin, so it'll be great to reacquaint myself with that one. Just a fantastic bunch of beers overall, and I'm thrilled to be trying them all. Like everyone else, I do have them chilling at the moment and may as well do just a wee bit of drinking on a weeknight . Thank you so much, James, you killed it, man!

my box should arrive by thursday. Last hint is that the recipient's local NFL team is perfoming above expectations this year

Happy everything arrived in one piece. Hope you enjoy it. Cheers!
Also, about the Big Sweede: it is brewed in the big city of Dallas, Wisconsin. It has a total of less than 400 people in it. Valkyrie Brewing is one of the first craft brewery places in the state. They also are quite good with pricing. 10oz pours are $2 each, and, if you buy their pint glass, and bring it back, a 16oz is $3. Cases are $32, or $60 for 2 cases.

Such a cool place to visit.

Sounds like a visit to rural Wisconsin may be in order, then.

I’ve done unsweetened coconut with ‘14 and ‘15 BCBS before. I toasted the coconut before the French press. It is awesome! Would recommend doing.
I guess I’m almost ready to experiment with my ‘16 and ‘17 soon

Hank da Stank(he farts a lot) really wanted to be in the pic. Such a ham!
This is really good. Cracker back with nice juicy hops. A bit of bitter grapefruit rhine. Nice! Can’t wait to crack into the rest of these cans!

Gahhhh! Although not a confirmation of my inability to correctly guess my sender, it may as well be! Let's recap:

-Closest team: Jags. Although 3-1, they were a quarter away from the Super Bowl last year. Their win over the Patriots was impressive, but their loss to the Titans was the opposite of impressive. Can't really say they're performing above expectations.

-In-state team: Falcons. A trendy Super Bowl pic, they're 1-3. Nope.

My hometown team couldn't remotely be considered local. My favorite team is even farther away! The only team that fits this hint for me would be the Buccaneers, but I can't consider them local (although I have lived in Tampa twice).

No, it looks like you've ruled me out, albeit unofficially ... unless it's a twisted hint where the expectations were in the number of losses, or attendance, or just .... no. Nope. Not me.

Looking at their beers they score like heavyweights, an impressive lineup to be sure. You can't score that high and not be legit good.

Anyone from Ohio still asking ? They're not winning but the Browns are playing pretty well. They're a year or two away from really competing.

I feel tensions will be quite high by Friday in this war. I'll be pulling some MOABs out. Let's pray this thing doesnt go nuclear. United States still needs South Carolina, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and to a lesser extent Illinois.
