Some of his people stopped by my youngest brother’s house (with a Ohio State flag flying in the front yard) and asked if they could a blue “Vote for Harbaugh” sign in his yard.

Lost Forty Snake Party DIPA.
Holy cow! This is delicious. The hops are so citrusy, and there's very little harshness to it. Delicious!

Pours a somewhat murky golden color. The head is 2 finger, white, quite frothy, with great retention. There's some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose is a nice, and lighter, grapefruit aroma.
Taste - Nice! The hops bite, but not a harsh bite, a mellow, almost loving bite. You get the grapefruit, and some pineapple, but there's very minimal harshness that some DIPAs have. Any harshness is on the backside, but it's minimal.
The body is full. The hops do linger on my throat. There's some carbonation in my throat.
Damn solid DIPA. Well rounded, and well constructed. Way to go Lost Forty.

It's worth the pilgrimage out to Ardmore to visit the Ferm, Cafe and General Store (all within a few blocks of each other). That said... They have a brand new biergarten in northern Philly that, depending on the weather a month from now, is someplace I wouldn't mind trying out.

 

If you guys do this again outside of football season, I will absolutely travel to be there. Would love to bend an elbow with you fine fellas.

 

I'm sure there are NFL teams around the country worth watching, along with a college team or two, but it's a bye week in Philadelphia. Happy to host something again next round, though.

Although... This is the share folks will be talking about for years. Not to give too much away, but just for instance, Larry has already agreed to wrestle all comers. Whether he takes them on all at once or back to back depends on what's in our boxes, of course.
