Here is a hint for my target:
If you get a box from me today, you are my target.
Box # 2 seems to have hit a delay and will arrive on Tuesday.
Your Food Item will arrive tomorrow.

 

So, an update for anyone that cares:

Just spent some time on the phone with FedEx. They said the package was destroyed and I could submit a claim. I asked some more questions and they said the driver had said that it was torn or punctured and was being sent back to the FedEx location where it would be disposed of. I asked if @CanConPhilly could come pick it up and decide for himself if it was a total loss. After being placed on hold a few more times they agreed that he could come pick it up.

Unfortunately, it's at a FedEx location 25 minutes from his house instead of around the corner. Hopefully he will be able to get out there and it's not a total loss.

Ugh.

 

Quickly. I got hit by @Bum4ever . I have the day off work, but am doing deliveries. Thankfully I was there when the hit took place, so the 20-year-old wasn't hurt too bad. I think she will recover.

But, I've got to run back to take another delivery. I'll display the carnage later.

We've all had some fun with this, and I think we've all been able to land some great boxes in the laps of those who we consider friends. If not before, then hopefully now.

We had the best of intentions throughout, and I truly hope that no one leaves the BIF with negative feelings about anything that occurred.

Fair warning, I'm not stingy with the stars on untappd since I work there! Some of the IPAs are really superb but not every single brew is a 5 in reality.

 

You know what they say, right? Life is like an octopus. One day you have eight arms and the next thing you know your metaphor breaks down completely.

That’s right. A second jam-packed box just landed from our host @beertunes. For those with extra beers on their hands after having frenemies wave the white flag in that recent skirmish, I recommend sending a few his way. Not only does he organize this thing and put up with us all twice a year, but he also sends some lovely boxes himself.
