That happened to the big box I sent to @Vidblain, only one bottle was missing and the rest made it to him, hopefully @CanConPhilly got all of them!

OK, this has brightened my day...

I get home from dinner with my family to see a flat rate box on my porch. I take a quick look, and the return address is @Vidblain . Good heavens, Chris, when is enough enough?

I open the box and see:

Kane and Carton! I love both brew... wait a minute. When was Chris out east? I head back to the front of the box and see:

I'm quite confident that Minnesota zip codes don't start with zero. But you know whose does? Paterson, New Jersey. Well played. Does anyone want to take credit for this awesome box of mostly Jersey goodness?

Carton Boat and Dune Fruit prickly pear cactus sour (!)
Kane Head High and Open Water
    Interboro Premiere DDH IPA
Magnify New Car Smell DDH IPA
Gun Hill A Brux Tale IIPA
Cape May Temporarily Permanent mango apricot golden sour

Outstanding! The only beers here I've had before are BOAT and Head High, and I will gladly accept cans of those any time! I think this is my first time with Gun Hill and Interboro, and I've heard great things. I've really enjoyed what I've had from Magnify, Cape May, Carton, and Kane.

    Thank you fake Chris!!

Really nice brew, mouthfeel is silky smooth most likely from the combo of oats and lupulin powder.
Accentuated Mosaic characteristics. Juicy, zest citrus and bitter pith with big earthy resinous finish. Everything balanced out with a bitterness level above most of my areas New England style hoppy brews.

    Thanks John!

So I am being accused of shipping a box and trying to make it look like someone else sent it. That's crazy. That would make me an outside agitator trying to stoke the flames of an all ready existing war.
    I'm insulted

This sounds a lot like my experiences. I lost one of my first 3 boxes. It was “ a total loss” at the local Fed Ex destination location. I asked if my recepient could come verify and they said it had been disposed of. The lady on the phone call gave me the alcohol speech too. However, they did reimburse me for my claim. I maxed out the $100 plus sbipping materials, so got a check for $117 I think. (actually more than the value at the time, but the way I pack I suspect it was taken home) Ever since then, I went all UPS and USPS, which to this point (knock on wood) have gone some 150-200 packages without incident. The key to me is making sure to invest in ziplock, or trash bags. That way even if something does break, they wonttbe tipped off. For what it’s worth, like @jhavs said, USPS seems to get it there regardless of condition. Having had first hand feedback from my brother and cousin who worked for UPS at the loading docks during college, it also behooves you to keep the boxes at a reasonable chucking weight. They get pissed when they have to bend over and pick something up and carry it a good way.

All of that experience aside, I have gotten moreand more hesitant to send stuff that is harder to near impossible to replace like @FFFjunkie did

I found a beer that I had to add to the Matrix.
My grandmother and her family has wintered on Ft. Myers for over 40 years, so I have spent plenty of time there. In fact, I walked a blockup from the beach back in 2014 and found Bourbon County BW on tap for the first time. That resulted in a long nap and some sunburn that afternoon.

Anyway, haven’t to this place yet, but likely will at some point

From a 16oz can with no date poured into a Pilsner glass.

It is a slightly cloudy, pale straw color with a big, super foamy bright white head that sticks to the glass.

It smells like fairly sweet, biscuit like bread with a slight skunkiness and floral like hop.

It tastes like it smells for the most part. Slightly sweet malts up front followed by some Noble hop spiciness, and a touch of floral/herbal flavor. A significant bitterness in the end. Especially lingering. Probably a bit too much.

Body is fairly soft, like well water and it isn’t real crisp like a Czech pilz. Might be a little too drying in the finish, but that fits the stronger bitterness. Although the alcohol is a bit high for the style, it isn’t really perceivable.

Pretty solid beer for the style.

Thanks @TheDoctor. This was awesome. Fantastic lasting head retention and thick foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight lingering resins/rinds. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft feel. Feels like Citra, Amarillo, Centennial. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; great wheat/oat/malt balance, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. Spot on NEIPA! 4.13

Pours a somewhat murky light golden color. The head was 1 finger, white, quite frothy, and long lasting. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is hoppy, as to be expected. The hops are somewhat mellow, but it tends more toward a citrus hop, but there's a slight pine aroma.
Taste - Citrus up front, but I get a lot of pine on the backside.
The body is decent. Hops don't linger on my palate a lot, but they are there.
    Damn good wet hop IPA.

Thanks so much again for this beer.
The crazy thing is with all these beers so kindly sent to me, I'll likely earn the title of PooBah with them.
