Having a very slow, lazy day here. Made my very first Scrapple, courtesy of @larryi86 with some buttered toast. I'm ignoring the heart palpitations. Unhealthy food cannot hurt me for another ten or so years, right?

In other good news, USPS came threw with one of @WesMantooth boxes:



2 different food items(the beef sticks are delicious), an awesome coffee mug, 3 great sounding beers, and a growler mystery beer. Excited to crack a few of these tomorrow for NBS, and for the other 60 plus pounds of beer that is set to land on Monday. This is an awesome start, thanks @WesMantooth

 

Shout out to USPS and back up plans! Outside of the Great Lakes, that is the stuff from my backyard. Went to the Festbier tapping there yesterday and ate brats made from the pigs the feed spent grain too covered in mustard made from their beer. The circle of life.



The Apple Butter and the mug are made in my county too. We have an old canal village that used to be part of the Ohio-Erie Canal. There is an Apple Butter Stir Festival mid Oct every year. It’s great on warm biscuits. Enjoy!
