    Splitting a Southern Tier Cold Press Coffee Pumking with my wife. Nice integration of coffee and pumpkin flavor...Really like Southern Tier.

    Congrats on your accomplishment. I know what it's like. I did Milwaukee back around 1980 and was sore for 2+ days. Feels good though !

    Chili Line's 'Pinche Guey', a smoked West coast IPA...my second beer from the brewery earlier this evening...



    A so-so IPA with very little smoked malt presence. The beer does have a prominent fruity quality and an okay hop bitterness, but isn't very memorable overall...

    Getting old is not so bad, it is the things that eventually go w it that suck - like not being able to breathe and do what one used to. The price we pay for being naughty along the way. Still can enjoy beer, whiskey and wine tho so all is not lost !!

    Cool, we can make old people feel the existential dread that is "celebrating birthdays" at this age. Sweet (me in a beret, with a cig, in a Jean Luc Godard black and white film noir).

    But seriously, I have a road map for liver damage and it includes Corridor, Dovetail, F Root, Spiteful, and yeah, you guessed it....the place that rhymes with Daft Maker....

    Have been unleashing beers from @SawDog505 all day!



    @Knapp85 stopped in for a quick drive by earlier this afternoon and this Unit 4 was nothing short of impressive! :heart_eyes:

    Another solid IPA with great citrus qualities:

    And this big 11.5% Triple IPA. Balanced to a little malt forward from start to finish but got really interesting on the palate after the fact. Built momentum on the backside with peppery, spicy, onion/garlic character - really dug this one!

    And right now / real time? Another big shout out to @SawDog505 for another amazing beer!! Would normally cellar this and share with friends but being selfish and enjoying at room temp - it's Monkee Time. :sunglasses: !

    La Bamba, a rauchbier from Chili Line Beer Company...



    A bit malty, a bit Smokey, but not too exciting overall. I wasn't expecting Aecht Schlenkerla rauchbier intensity, but still found this beer rather subdued for a brewery specializing in smoked beers...

    I was actually hoping to take a few bottles back to Colorado, but they misplaced their bottle capper, and since the beers didn't really wow me, I was saved from buying brews I didn't actually need...

    And a couple of pictures of this small brewery's malt bags and brewing are...

    Actually finishing this IPA up now in the vacation rental loft Mrs. Goot and I are staying in this weekend in Santa Fe (and watching 'The Adam's Family' reruns on Roku)...
