Alright @Dragginballs76 ii should have your package out tomorrow. I've been holding off while i had a package in limbo but looks like it's going to hit Target tomorrow. I hope he's ready for it. That box is a quality over quantity one and it's just what he deserves. Hopefully he's a strong man but he's from Illinois so i just don't know. Now onto you mr Carolina and i haven't forgotten about a certain enemy to the West that hit me this week. @Victory_Sabre1973 what goes around comes around... With interest

Here is the porch bomb that @Roguer drop on me today, in all its glory:

First up are the cans:

Bunch of wants and new ticks in here and one permawant tick (Jai Alai).

Next up are the small format bottles:

Expedition is a favorite of mine and the other 4 are new ticks, pretty sure a couple are on the wants list too. Super excited to give that 2014 Bigfoot a go.

Now the Big guys:

Kaboom! The MBCP is always welcome and the Wide Awake is in my top 25 beers for sure, always a treat to be able to crack one of those. The collab sounds amazing and I am always down to try anything from cigar city.

Pulling another great beer from the box @strohme2 sent. Blackrocks 51K. I have seen this one around and always wanted to try it, very tasty well made IPA. Thanks Justin.



Appearance 4.25 - Pours clear golden color with thick sticky white head that leaves spotty lacing all around the glass.

Aroma 4 - Some light lemon, hops, citrus peel, caramel and a touch of sweet malt and pine.

Taste 4 - Just follows the nose perfectly, very well balanced pine, grapefruit. malt followed up with some bitter citrus peel that carries through. Very easy drinking no sign of any alcohol.

Feel 4.25 - Medium bodied well carbonated, pretty mild dry finish after the initial punch of the bitterness up front.

Overall 4.09- A really well done IPA, well balanced, easy drinking.

 

Here’s a tasty brew from @r0rschach

Loads of big juicy hops, oj and some sweet tropical fruits.

Soft and smooth mouthfeel and a bit under moderate carbonation.

Hint of grapefruit zest bitterness rounds things out.

Brian, I'm glad you like the beers but I regret to say that I'm not the sender.

 

It was extremely thoughtful but of @TongoRad not me.

 

And so the plot thickens.....

 

I know this beer didn’t come from anyone here, but I had to grab a nice bottle for tonight and wanted to share it here rather than WBAYDN. A couple of my friends and local share buddies have a bar in town. Over 100 taps, and I had BCBS 15&16 there a couple weeks ago. It was passed down from their father who had built it up over a long time and the boys both knew it from their earliest memories. Karaoke room, pool room, and a common area with tables/darts in the middle room. Very craft-centric place with a fun vibe.

Someone lost their life there a couple weeks ago. Since then they have been forced into shutting down the bar. A decision that came with heavy hearts and many tears. They have sold off a lot of their cellars of whales along with cars and other belongings of value. They saved a few nice bottles to share with friends tonight, but sadly I had to pass and be here for my wife who is actually sick with a fever. I have had a couple cans of nice hops, but wanted to enjoy a big one for my boys.
