    Went to a local Growlers-to-Go shop. Picked up some VA cans and filled a 32 ounce growler with an Aslin DIPA. Got the growler fill for free. I will post the reason why in WBAYDN when I open it soon.

    It has been a bit of a letdown my recent experience with Trillium. Their beers were good, yes, specially their Scaled and Vicinity, but I think I prefer the offerings of other more accesible breweries like Garage or Frau Gruber. The same happened me with the Tree House cans.

    I also have to say that while my sample size may be small, having only had Haze and Fort Point by Tree House/Trillium, that these beers have really not impressed me any more than those by top European breweries like Frau Gruber, Cloudwater, Garage or Lervig.

    I think they're pretty differential, most European takes on the style aren't as "fluffy" as say Trillium, and usually more bitter. Then it just come down to taste, which one you prefer. Lervig and Cloudwater seem lighter and crisper to me than a lot of Americans...
