I couldn't find it in Vermont. My wife picked me up some in Erie PA last weekend. Not sure how far away that is from you, but the name of the place was 1000 beers or something along those lines.

Good evening, all, and Happy New Pizza Friday! Little Sicily is a little out-of-the-way place in the village of Brice, in southeast Columbus. Best pizza in the area, for my money. I ordered a Yuengling Traditional Lager to drink whilst waiting for my pizza. Served with a frosted pint glass, which turned out not to be such a bad idea since this is about the skunkiest crap imaginable. I made sure to include a reference to this in my review. I mean, what the hell. This would be a pretty solid beer otherwise. They deserve to get dinged for these abominable green bottles. Will they ever learn? As Descartes said right before he phased out of existence, "I think not."

Sweet hell does this one deliver. I’ve never had a Hazy with so much dank pine. This is really good.

Happy Friday, BAs! This has been a great fresh hop season here in Colorado. This Simcoe Field to Ferment is definitely one of the best things I've had so far. All the elements of Simcoe--woodsy-earthiness, berry and citrus fruitiness--are present. The Citra FtF was very good, but this is hit-you-over-the-head good! Yes, my pic is blurry, this is what happens when I snap pics without my glasses on! :nerd::nerd::nerd:

[IMG] The new Southern Hemisphere Flow Switch pours a very hazy pineapple orange juice color with a finger plus sticky off white head that leaves a big thick ring of lace with some thin webs as it slowly settles. 4.75

Smell a big hit of blueberry, cantaloupe, papaya, and a hint of grapefruit. 4.5

Taste follows blueberry and cantaloupe kind of dominate and I am loving it, with some papaya, tangerine, and the most mild of grapefruit in the juicy finish. 4.75

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry or sticky, and incredible drinkability at 8% ABV. 5

Overall really loving this one, the blueberry flavor is intoxicating. 4.75

Welcome to the American south, stray dogs everywhere. My parents foster 1-2 dogs a month that are on the verge of being put down. Those dogs are than loaded up on vans and drove by volunters to NE or Canada where a large pool of people are waiting to adopt them. The vast majority of strays never get a chance at a fulfilling life.

This was pretty good. Nice head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, nutty coffee, brown bread, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of molasses, dark fruit, herbal/grassy/peppery hops, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy hop; and roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy, light sticky hops and chalky roast. Lightly increasing lingering hop/roast bitterness, no cloying/astringent. Pretty rough finishing, but smooth. A little weird at first, but it grew on me. Good representation of the intended style. Well balanced cocoa, coffee, and sorghum/rice extract; with light earthy hops against sweetness. Not too bad, enjoyable. Still kind of tastes like beer. 3.48

Urban Village Brewing. Fantastic NEIPA. Opaquely hazy green color; lasting fluffy head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, mint, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/grainy wheat; slight sticky hops and gritty notes in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no astringency. Super smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 6.5%. Loved the Vic Secret, Mosaic, Motueka profile as expected. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt balance; not overly sweet from lingering dryness. Amazingly well executed style example. 4.25
