Transient Kentuckly on draft. Great barrel, plus you get all the adjuncts, maple, coffee, vanilla. Cheers to the weekend BA!

 

Harpoon Weizenbot. This is a German style weizenbock. It seems spot on for the style description to my taste buds. Bready, slightly toasty, a little banana and clove, considerable dark fruit. Highly carbonated, minimal head, almost no bitterness. A bit of alcohol warmth. Very nice beer from my buddies at Harpoon.

 

Plum Walker plum kettle sour at Something Brewery after a day of dealing with incompetent contractors fixing their mistakes. A solid beer with a nice balance of plum and tartness!

Moderate pour yields a 5/8 inch off white pinkish head over a translucent pink champagne body with no lacing. Head dissipates down to a ring in a a matter of minutes. Nose of nothing I can pin down. I'm guessing it's the smell of beets. Taste of citrus, beets, and finishing pleasantly tart. Very nice feel and overall, I would have again. Cheers!

 

I haven't been on BA much lately and just realized that you're in Colorado now, welcome! Looks like you've already found some good go-places.

 

Finally home after a torturous Friday evening commute.....this ipa from Definitive Brewing in Portland Maine is helping ease my BP. These guys have only been opened since around Memorial Day and they really are killing it with their NE IPA’s....and their stouts were a hit with my group as well this past weekend. A must stop for anyone visiting Portland!
