Terrapin wake n bake. Local store got this in a couple months ago actually and it’s been turding up the shelf so I decided to help them out and take it off their hands. It’s an excellent coffee beer although I didn’t want to post in that thread as it was getting contentious. Anyway, cheers and have a great Saturday.

Edit: just checked out the bottom of the can and it reads 2017 stash. *facepalm* My local distributor sucks monkey nuts.

Good morning BAs! Mrs. & Jr. Z are off to the Saturday morning market, leaving me behind with the dogs, and on laundry/KP duty. Some strong coffee is in order - Prairie’s “Pirate BOMB”:



Strong chillies hot pepper sauce. Some oak/vanilla in the nose as well. Not picking up much coffee...Alcohol/chillies bite on tip of tongue, otherwise slick, silky tongue coating. Not much to look at, but on swirl medium plus legs sheet the glass. Some cocoa and bitter roast coffee beans, and there’s some fruit sweetness in here, like dark cherries. Finish is a boozy rum and cherry cola, infused with spicy hot pepper sauce. Warming 15% face flush and esophageal teaser. Wow! My kind of delicious eye opener...now where did they put that laundry soap...

 

You clearly (as did some of us) married above your league Cheers brother and enjoy your heat wave...winter is approaching!

Their weather was milder than michigan weather, yet they wore jackets while we wore shorts and t shirts (this was late September/early October last year) I'd bring a little of warm and cool clothing if possible. Have fun over there! I couldn't make it to octoberfest unfortunately, drink one for me.
