    I will.

This is from my last fishing trip to the Angle, but the views are similar:

And, of course, the fish, from the spring trip, which was nice and warm back in May:

+ points for the beautiful shot and the terrific walleye!

    - points for the fucking Alex Jones shirt

Stay warm out there man, and good luck with the fish! Sorry to hear about your buddy's job - that's rough. Hope he can find something better!

Damn! I bet it smells better than mine does too. I was sorta looking forward to those “poor man’s” Tesla’s coming out by now. Maybe some year. Yours looks sweet. Enjoy!

Well, I've packed my heavy winter coat, 2 sweatshirts, 3 hats, gloves, pants, sweat pants, snow pants, boots, and heavy wool socks.

Hopefully, along with the hand warmers, and foot warmers, I should be just fine. At least it won't rain or snow.

A little tip? I've been hitting the surplus section at Fleet Farm for a few years now, and I've found some really excellent heavy duty winter gear. Snow pants, onesie suits, wool socks, etc. All at pretty decent deals, too. I know how expensive that stuff gets.

Thankfully, you only really need to buy socks from year to year - at least once you have a good snowsuit, pants, sweaters, you're pretty good to go forever.

Anyway, sounds like you're prepared! Cheers, man!

    Here's the last one @WesMantooth :

The Rustic Helles- some Wooly Pig only seemed appropriate as I was about to pull my pork. Hey, don't knock my hobbies!

And, again, it's outstanding! I'm very much getting that Augustiner vibe from it that's a bit sulfury yet also like a wisp of fresh air. Malt character is deep and bready, has some pop to it too, there's the perfect amount of grassy hops, starts malty but ends with a crisp dry finish- they don't come much better. To say I'm thoroughly impressed by these guys would be an understatement. Thank you so much for sending these my way!

And now, I have some pulling to do... :sunglasses:
(yes, I liked it that much )

    Careful. Don’t pull too hard.

Glad to see another lager head agrees with me. I feel that I probably underrate his beers if anything because I strive to be as objective as possible. That being said, I was very optimistic and had high expectations from Kevin. I’m sure I mentioned it before in other threads, but he was the head brewer at Uinta for about 10 years. Hop Nosh, Baba Black Lager, and Dubhe are his recipes among others. They sent him to Germany several times and he fell in love with southern Bavarian styles. I would be happy to have a lager focused brewery in Ohio, but to have one in my county is hard to believe.

Oh, cool, really good to know then. The nuance and attention to detail are definitely there in his beers, so it makes sense that there's a bit of a pedigree behind them. Are they only selling at the farm for now, or is there some sort of distribution?

    Thanks again @superspak
    Oddside Ale's Citra Pale Ale

Thanks to superspak for this golden gem
Pours a copper tinged gold in color. Bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass, pushing a full 2.5" of white foam to the rim. As the bubbles recede, they form a solid milky layer, surrounded by tons of patchy lacing clinging to the glass.
Aroma is, well, bright. This really spotlights the Citra. Floral, zesty lemon, orange with a touch of grass.
What I did not find bitter notes in the nose I am now getting in the flavor. Lemon zest and some gentle grapefruit pith start off, but are soon tamed a bit by the crackery malt. A slight honey sweetness peeks through until the grapefruit pith comes back at the finish and dries it out in an earthy way.
Mouthfeel is medium with the carbonation carrying everything along nicely. Slightly slick finish.
Overall, a very solid in between APA and IPA.

The only distro he has done so far is a few kegs to the Columbus area and festivals. They intended too initially, but the amount of traffic at the brewery changed their plans.

Totally agree. I love trying new beers, and enjoy the process of exploring them even if the final destination isn't exactly where I wanted to end up. Not every beer is going to be right up my alley, but that isn't necessarily because it's a bad beer, and even that is good useful information to help understand what I do and don't like better to hone my future pursuits.

Careful. If you pull it more than twice, you're playing with it.

Glad you enjoyed it! Ranger Creek is a local SA brewery that has gotten into distilling. If you ever get to SATX, check them out (Internet first to get current hours. Parking's a bitch, so get there early. The Colonel's a riot! Samples are Texas-sized (12 oz), so it helps if you've got a DD.).

Likewise. While I review a new beer daily (depending on my schedule and new beer availability), I only post reviews on NBS, usually once, rarely twice, with the WBAYDN entry having only a comment.
