    Ballast Point/Dead Ringer. It's aight.

Dark mahogany body. It's brewed clear but you can't see through it. One finger off white head dies quickly leaving a ring around the glass.
The aroma is toasted malts with some faint caramel, dark stone fruit and apple.
Toasted grains, dates and apples in the taste. Faint medicinal hops towards the end.
Nice smooth body and a light mouth feel.

At Noble Ale Works for the game; drinking a Yoga Pantz - it’s their blonde coffee stout with added pumpkin and spices - not bad. Brewers are leading 1-0 behind the POS bat of Lyin’ Braun. Let’s go blue:

Fantastic imperial Berliner. Deep ruby red/purple color. Great head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape, hay, straw, and grass; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toasted malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light herbal/grassy bitterness, and spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts; some lactic acid and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, no puckering. Refreshingly smooth, not overly lactic, minimal warming 7.5%. Amazingly jammy raspberries; with balanced Lacto complexity, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Spot on style. 4.25

Last of the GP crowlers. This was fantastic. Lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Crystal clarity. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 6.7%. Amazing Mosaic/Equinox showcase. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice solid bready malt backbone, no residual sweetness from crisp dryness. 4.2

Another Brewdog offering, Kamikaze Knitting Club, a maple Stout. You know, this may not be great, but is certainly great value at 2€ a can. Body/mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery, but a good balance of sweet and roasted, bitter notes.

Finally get around to having a beer, and it's a good 'un...
Saw my store post that this came in, and made a stop right after work today, also picked up a few other beers, as described in the Post a picture of your latest beer haul thread...

What I didn't mention over there was that I also got a couple of other goodies today...

Got the 2019 Frazetta wall calendar and the graphic novel release of Old Man Logan, which collects Wolverine #66-72 and Wolverine: Old Man Logan Giant-Size, by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven... Haven't read a comic book or graphic novel in a looong time, so I'm pretty pumped about this - purchase inspired by my Hugh Jackman birthday nod on Friday...

    Officially ready for kickoff now...

Trying a North Coast beer that I haven't seen around the area before...

A very fine, old-style west coast IPA, well-balanced and some nice depth, bringing light cereal grain flavor along with a subtle citrus aroma and taste along with a bold hop bitterness.
