Collaborative effort between Mikkeller San Diego, Crosby Hop Farms, and People Like Us (Denmark)... West coast-ish triple IPA (10.1% abv) with a nice pine shellac effect and a tacky resinous sweetness... Bitterness moderate and sticky, sweetness also moderate and sticky... Medium-weight, mild carbonation, and a lingering caramel pine finish... Julian dating indicates an 8/31/18 canning...

I gotta tell you my friend that it hurts to lay out $16 to $20 for a 4 pack only to find out you do not like the beer. And therre are so many good brews at much better price. Just whining, probably because I got estimates for some house repairs. Or maybe I am just a grumpy old.man. What say you @scream .

Really looking forward to coffee beers being back on the shelf. Despite a few local seasonal coffee beers hitting shelves this past few weeks, I'm tickling that dark coffee beer itch with this one tonight.

Petrus Aged Pale - 100% Pure Oak Foeder beer. Belgium. This is actually their blending beer that they use to sour up others. This was truly one of the most interesting brews I've ever had. Talk about oaky. Quite sharp and acetic. I woke up sick this morning, and figured I would pop this open before I completely lose my sense of smell and taste. Posted a review. Grab this one and cellar it for a year or so. Lots of character. 4.3/5

One of the best. $9 for a 750ml is a steal.

 

I think Veil has collaborated with both of them. Sometimes I can get the collab beer. Other times no.
