This stuff is really juicy and tasty.

I really enjoyed this at the brewery this summer and grabbed a four-pack and glass. Tastes like a chocolate covered cherry.

Absolutely. An analog repress would be in my top 10 vinyl wants.

 

Excellent fruited DIPA. Nice head retention/spotty lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops; light resins/rinds and fruit tang/acids in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness. No astringency. Very smooth, minimal warming 8.1%. Great Citra, Mosaic, Denali, Motueka profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops/fruit; nice bready malt backbone, mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Would buy again. Very well made all around. Loved the hop profile. 4


This was absolutely insane. Nice head retention/minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy/tart/tangy strawberries, sour cranberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, pineapple, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate caramel, brown sugar, and toasted bread malt balance; and lighter notes of oaken vanilla, pepper, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit/wine tang, and light yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit/wine tang, and light yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and body; very creamy/bready malts; some lactic acid, fruit tang, and wine tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/sour/tangy fruit dryness; no puckering. Dangerously smooth, not overly lactic, minimal warming 8%. Definitely their best sour I've had yet, but they were all amazing. Not as puckering as the rest. Enormously jammy strawberries, with perfectly balanced Brett/Bacteria complexity, dark/bready malts, and wine barrel integration. Still need to seek out a few. Black Raspberry is supposedly the real best one. 4.47

Nice to see a new German import on the shelves; doesn’t seem to happen much anymore. My store also had their Export Lager which I’ll be picking up next. This is really good.
