Other Half's Double Dry Hopped Double Mosaic Daydream.

 

If there is someone that can do it, it’s you my man!

 

Half way through grading 15-20 pp papers. So, dank-time. Can't see straight. Blurgh.

 

While waiting for this evening's football game I'm having a Bell's Best Brown Ale. The beer has aromas/flavors that include lightly roasted nutty malt, some chocolate and a bit a sweetness with some light spicy bitterness to finish off the ending. Nice change of pace and well worth trying if you haven't. (Try it, you might like it. )

 

First up from my box o’ beer:

Melvin — 2x4 DIPA

Foothills Pumpkin Ale... Don't judge

 

It is a beautiful fall evening!

 

Possibly my nightcap, not sure yet. Anyway, it’s a delicious barrel aged stout from the folks at New Holland!

 

This magic mushroom-looking beer is from Foreign Objects...

From Stardust to Thoughtform...

6.7% abv NEIPA made with lactose sugar, double dry hopped, featuring Galaxy and Cashmere hops, and experimental hop #472... Presents aromas and flavors suggestive of tropical and orchard fare, including tangerine, melon, lemongrass, coconut, and peach, with a mild passion fruit undercurrent and brighter citric notes providing highpoints... Soft and smooth, tangy and zesty, it is mildly sweet and moderately bitter with ample carbonation... I'm really liking it... 9/18 canning...

Fat Orange Cat. Incredible NEIPA. Lasting head retention/thick lacing on the glass. Flavors of huge peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, tangerine, orange juice, ruby grapefruit, lemon, lime, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar aromas, a bit muted. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready wheat/oats, and slight sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Insanely smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.5%. Amazing Azacca/Idaho 7 profile. Extremely juicy and slightly dank hop complexity; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. Really glad I got the 4 pack. Amazing style example, and their best I've had yet. 4.28


Fantastic DIPA. Great head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with balanced honey, caramel, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Very smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 10%, dangerously smooth sipping. Simcoe, Galaxy, CTZ, Centennial, Cascade, Citra. Super juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice sized malt backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. I love it! 4.23

Getting a bit burned out on Death/Metalcore after 4 days, but I have found a lot of new bands I really like now, from that enormous Spotify playlist of all Djent/Prog/metalcore.

 

I picked up a few of these BA 4 packs in Nevada...got this, a IPA and a porter. This is good. More barrel than I thought I'd get and a real smooth beer.
