So cracked into this beer from @r0rschach FroYo Pulp Milkshake IPA. this was a pretty complex well done IPA. Great flavors and a super dry finish.

Appearance 4.5 - pours opaque orange with big white head which settles to a thin cap. Lots of sticky lacing.

Aroma 4 - Tangerine, vanilla, light pine, orange.

Taste 4.25 - Orange and tangerine up front quickly followed by grapefruit and bitter citrus peel on the finish. The vanilla really mellows everything out nicely.

Feel 4.25 - Medium bodied nice creamy feel pretty dry finish

Overall 4.22 - Well done milkshake IPA nice flavors great dry finish.

Lol, holy crap. That's some serious box violence.

@r0rschach 's carpet bombing has me thoroughly amused. Well played John!

I love the "WE CARE" note after they smash the hell out of a package. I had an envelope completely flattened and ripped open. They stuffed the shreds into a "WE CARE" plastic sleeve and delivered it....

The packaged contents look good otherwise!

    Cheers!

Vanilla Abraxas is well worth tracking down. I just had it on tap at Side Project, but it was surreal. One of my highest rated beers to-date.

You beat me to it! Oh the irony of "WE CARE"

They did the same thing to a box I sent to @FFFjunkie - they snapped the damn neck off the bottle, from the sound of it. Taped their form letter apology to the box and delivered it.

I think it's funny that they send this "we care" crap, but they don't provide you with a form to claim damages or anything. That whole "caring" thing really reimburses you for your losses and stuff.

Hey at least they still deliver the rest of the box instead of confiscating it as contraband, right?

Crackilating on this Brut IPA from @Dragginballs76 's mid atlantic onslaught before going to help my dad get the yard ready for a potluck yard party this evening.

The citra blush through the first half of the beer is delicate and subtle, and the champagne yeast leaves its indelible mark as soon as the finish comes in with that unmistakable dry/sweet/sour/bitter character that is undeniably bubbly white wine.

    Thanks Mike!

Had the Blueberry one already, and it was killer. I have a feeling the rest are also killer.

I gotta give some mad props to @r0rschach for this Texas ipa. My first ipa from the state. I think my first Texas beer period apart from Shiner (does that even count?).

Looks wonderful in that Spiegelau. Classic citrus nose. Very complex taste...I get grapefruit and orange but also lime and some other fruits my crappy palate struggles to identify. Thick, creamy body. Overall I really dig this beer. Can’t wait to try all the others!

I concur - I'm headed to a barbecue on Sunday. Think I'll be cracking all of these beers there with friends!

I don’t find many beers with Huell Melon hops that I like but this one changes things. Really subtle green melon and citrus. Thanks Mike!

Another one from @kemoarps tonight. Spruce Budd by Fort George

Pours near transparent gold, under half finger of white head composed of small bubbles, dissipating quickly.
Smells of grape, lavender, strawberry. Slight lemon drop note on the back end.
Taste is strawberry, trace of basil, lemon seltzer, some herbal notes.
Mouthfeel is thinner than mid range, though not watery. Bubbles are somewhat prickly but fairly mild.
This beer really surprised me! I was expecting pine, sappy, herbal notes but its got much more fruitiness and dimension. I really enjoy this though, both in the surprise aspect and the depth of it. Thank you again Kestrel

Home from work. Rental car for the weekend is in the garage. Time for another beer from the ninja box from @r0rschach . FroYo Pulp from Turning point beer. Thanks for sending this, it is quite delicious, though I'm burping hops like crazy.

This beer pours an orange tinted golden color. Very murky, and hazy. The head is 1 finger, white, frothy, with excellent retention.
The nose hit as I was pouring the beer into the glass. A nice citrus aroma appeared. Up close I get orange and a bit of vanilla. I get some dairy smell also. It reminds me of an orange Julius almost.
Taste - Orange, other citrus, and some vanilla. There's also a dairy flavor to it. I haven't had many tangerines, but I'd say that based on the can, that's the other citrus flavor I get.
The hops do linger in my throat for a long time. There's a slightly creamy feel. I keep burping hops. Maybe a bit lighter bodied than I'd expect from this style, but not by much.
Very interesting NEIPA. Solid and delicious. Worth trying if you can get it, and are into the style.
