    Last beer before heading home - “Barley Shake” a Barleywine with lactose collab between Untitled Art and Jackie O’s:



    Sweet malt with some earthy hops hiding in the background. Creamy feel from the lactose. A bit sweet for me.

    Solid beer right here.

    It’s interesting drinking this after recently drinking Fair State Keller Kazbek. This Von Pilsner is far more balanced with the malt and hops rather than over the top hoppy.

    I've been passing on this one lately but one of the "beer guys" at the liquor store that I trust said it was pretty solid. I don't understand the name but I like this beer.

    That is an excellent comparison (to Yellow Rose). Both are favorites of mine, especially when fresh.

    A much needed beer after another couple hours in the deep woods and after a few hours of flier making and calls to shelters. It’s a really shitty feeling but it’s beginning to dawn on me that I may never see my dog again. We get hope, we get sightings...we get nothing. Blows. My feet and ankles are soaked and cold so this may turn into a shower beer.

    Damn dude that sucks I hate to hear that. We have come close to our dog getting out and the longest he has been gone is overnight and that was a sleepless night moving at every sound outside.
