Mrs. Z called while I was washing and cutting veggies, and advised she wanted Pizza tonight from our favorite local joint. Prep over...Jr. is off to pick up a NY style pie, and I’ve got some sautéed broccoli & mushrooms with garlic underway - hit me with another Jai Alai:

Well, I pulled the trigger. I will have a flash and a softbox by this weekend to continue to play with light in these shots, even when natural light isn't viable enough to maintain the ISO/aperture I prefer.

I know a pub across from a McDonalds that lets you bring your own food in and has Breakfast Stout on draft. Should I drink Breakfast Stout for breakfast once?

 

Last one, we are eating very local at Leebe Fish in Marco. The beer is decent, the food and atmosphere is world-class. Plus an appearance by Mrs O!

 

Autumn Landscapes by Industrial Arts, a harvest lager. This beer is incredibly impressive. Part Oktoberfest, part wet-hop, all amazing. That rye too, jeez, such spicy goodness. Jesus, I wish I had gotten more than 2 of these because this is my 2nd. Great job by IA.

 

First and foremost, this one goes out to my West Coast homie living on the East Coast @JayORear I know that you are crushing those good Easty Suds, but Pliny misses you too. Actually, that’s all I got:

Tasted like a chocolate milk stout with very little barrel presence. Not a bad beer, but I like my barrel aged stouts big and bold.

 

Ahhh got it. I actually liked the fact that it was a bit more on the "tame" side. I had some black Tuesday once and Wow I don't think it gets any bigger and bolder than that! I think a 2oz pour was MORE than enough.. BTW Black Tuesday releases in a few days want a bottle?
