I thought the Porter and scotch ale in this series were decent beers...nothing great. this one really surprised me as I figured it would be my least favorite. I guess there's not a lot of competition for BA IPA's compared to the other 2.

Kane's Sneak Box.

 

If I had to choose between von Trapp or this, I might choose this.
Port City/Oktoberfest.

Matte copper body with a big two finger head. Eggshell in color. Leaves a ring around the glass with some spotty, sticky lace.
The aroma is toasted malts, roasted hazelnuts, honey and green apple.
Toasted malts in the taste with a delicate toffee sweetness that mingled nicely with green apple and a noble hop spice bite.
Soft and silky mouth feel up front, finishes dry with a nice hop finish. Medium body with good carbonation.

I saw them in Ames a couple weeks back. Great game. Even better halftime show. Love John Williams movie scores.

 

I've definitely had this in my previous (pre-BA) life, but never since I've been on-site... Totally worth the return... And damn if it ain't better than I'd recalled... Classic cascading pour into a pint finally reveals a pitch-black beer with a creamy almost white foam cap that drags down the side of the glass... Next-level smooth, mild with dark roasty chocolate malts and hints of espresso and char... Mildly sweet, mildly bitter - and, again, so smooth and soft... Probably one of the fluffiest, softest beers... Where's the love???

Another from @Dwood1466 return fire. Texas brews some ass kicking brews. Turning Point Extra Pulp. The minute I popped the can and smelled this I had high hopes and it did not disappoint. Loads of sweet citrus aromas and the taste follows with loads of citrus and a substantial pithy bitterness with a light malt base. Blinded I could easily believe this to be a NEIPA. Tasty Stuff. Edit- the bitterness overwhelms just a tad. Needs just a bit more sweetness but still good. And some amazing guitar from Mr SJ.

 

Enjoying an Arizona beer here in the north central climes. Sleepy Dog Wet Snout Peanut Butter Stout. Too many words.

Way more chocolate than peanut butter but really good.

 

Toppling Goliath Pompeii...yum.
