Awesome DIPA! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, honey, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 8.4%. Citra, Mosaic, Falconers 7C's, and Columbus hops. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, and not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Underrated brew IMO.

World class RIS as always. Found a 2 year old 4 pack off the shelf a few months ago. Flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, toffee, toasted biscuit, dark bread, and smoke/char malts; with some herbal, peppery, piney hops; and lighter notes of raisin, plum, date, and licorice fruitiness. Light-moderate piney/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Very full bodied creamy, silky, bready malts; with some hop stickiness and chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing hop/char dryness, never acrid/astringent. Extremely smooth sipping, minimal warming 9%. One of my favorites, a true style classic. The perfect example of the style. Great fresh or aged, for different reasons. Will get again, there are plenty of stores to find aged packs that just sit around.

Modern Times Spirit Foul... now we are talking about Hazy’s!

This is the closest tasting beer to Trillium/Other Half I’ve had on the west coast

The beer's a good one and the hazelnut flavor in it is nice, but the more I drink Sunny Side Up and it's variations, the more I think it's too sweet for me. I think I may just need a break from it though. If you want to try it or any other PA beers, let me know and I'll send some your way.
