What beer are you drinking now? #2214

Was out shopping for beer for someone else this morning and I came across these in 12oz cans. A 12 pack for $12.99

That is like the equivalent of a $5 4-pack of pints

I dare anyone to tell me this isn't the best NEIPA value on the planet.

 

Made a day trip Up North to beautiful Bellaire, MI. At my personal favorite Short's Brewing enjoying a Hibiscus Brute IPA.

Another terrific beer by Jack’s Abby. This ones brewed with rye malt. These know their lagers that’s for sure!

 

Cask conditioned ControversiALE with Apricot and Raspberry. I forget how rich and creamy a Cask ale is.

 

I’m a sucker for a hoppy rye. This is a solid attempt. Cheers!

 

Decent enough Czech style pilsner with a modicum of spruce in the nose. Flavor is a little more in the direction of what I wanted, but it doesn't have the best overall feel so I'm not overly impressed. And why did they use the same name for this as an IPA they used to make? Stupid. Anyway, review here!

 

This is absolutely refreshing after busting my ass in the yard sawing wood and raking the leaves. I love the Fall but I hate raking leaves, lol.

 

Sunshine and blue skies are melting the few inches of snow we received. Or maybe it's the abv. of this beer? This is a sweet boozy beast! The taste reminds me more of a barrel aged quad than brown ale, but I'm not complaining. Cheers to all the vets on your National holiday!
