What my daughter is drinking now.

 

BCBS Wheatwine, 15.3% ABV. Pours dark brown with a ring of tan head. Nose is sweet butterscotch. Taste is sweet butterscotch, caramel, perhaps some moleasses, and slight toasted pineapple. Almost no bitterness, and doesn't taste boozy. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Release day special and a local taproom, with a complimentary GI pint glass. I was trying to decide whether to buy any bottles of it, and I decided to, but only got one. It's a nice change from BCBS. Sat and talked to a guy and now I'm considering getting into brewing.

Just more of this here ba. Higher Burnin, ipa, from LIC Beer Project. This is really good and seems to get better the more I drink it. A bit fruit forward with tangy/slightly bitter hops and not overly sweet.

ok - so I broke down and took the 2 minute drive - they were stocking the shelves when I showed up - very tasty this year -

 

Favorite part of Thanksgiving is ham & eggs, an excellent morning beer and then off to find BCBS. Cheers!

 

It started raining, which put a stop to my Christmas decorating outside. Then ants started streaming into my kitchen through the wall, so I had to stop and battle them. Then water started streaming into my kitchen through the blinds. So now I'm drinking beer.
