Awesome NEIPA as expected. Great head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 7%. Feels like Simcoe/El Dorado. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops; great wheat/oat/malt balance, mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on stuff. 4.1

I dig this beer. One of the better canned New England IPA’s i’ve had.

Pretty good, not great. It’s almost there to be great!

Glad to get back to NWIndiana for a couple days to bury my grandfather - my second dad basically. Back to Houston now on the plane, but there’s a “mechanical issue” ... Thanks for announcing that captain :flushed:
    cheers y’all.

I was going to behave tonight, and go to the gym after work. I get there, thinking it closed at 10 tonight. WRONG! it closes at 8. Really didn't have time to get a swim in, so home drinking Rainbows & Lollipops from The Fermentorium.

Pours a slightly murky amberish color. The head is quite frothy, white, 3 finger, with good retention. There's some really nice lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose has a nice hop aroma. Some pineapple, orange and other citrus aromas.
Taste - a nice sweetness that turns into a nice citrus hop flavor. The pineapple and orange taste good. Slight pine on the backside.
The Body is decent. Nice how the hops linger a bit on the backside.
Decent IPA from them. Great flavor, and it holds up well.

Hit up Total Wine today, and this is the first thing I'm checking out...
Stone's Enjoy By Brut IPA - looove it - still rockin' that 9.4% abv, but with a funky dryness - very fucking pleased - 11/27 canning, 1/1/19 "enjoy by" date...

    Lomachenko fight coming up soon...
But somehow the Heisman Trophy ceremony trumps the fight? What the fuck?

In the meantime, lots of musician comings and goings get a nod today...

    Jim Morrison, December 8, 1943 – July 3, 1971...

    Gregg Allman, December 8, 1947 – May 27, 2017...

    Sinéad O'Connor, 52 today...
Alright, admittedly, I'm not a fan, but I love Chris Cornell's cover of Nothing Compares 2 U, which, even though written by Prince, is usually associated with Sinéad...

    Corey Taylor, 45 today...

Not a Stone Sour guy, and I really only like one Slipknot album, but his voice is great, and I really dig a lot of the covers he does...

    Nicki Minaj, 36...
Probably a reprehensible person, but I'll still watch this every now and then...

    And I mentioned goings, right?

Today marks the day John Lennon was killed back in 1980...

There was a Beatles, Who, Stones, and Zeppelin debate late last night @TheGent @joe1510 @scream @russpowell @Rootscipio @tasterschoice62 @not2quick - but they left Sabbath and Purple out of it so I stayed out of it, too...

Today also marks the day Dimebag Darrell was killed back in 2004...

    And one non-musical nod: John Glenn, July 18, 1921 – December 8, 2016...
Can't comment on his politics much, but gotta give the nod outta respect for his military service (WWII and Korea) and work in the space program...

    Cheers, BA...
