What beer are you drinking now? #2245

Gotta love the can art on this one...Drawn and Quartered DIPA from Nightmare Brewing which is the brain child from one of Sand City’s head brewers. 10% and quadruple hopped it is really smooth. Creamy, passion/pineapple juice, dried apricots. This is fantastic stuff.

My second brandy barrel barleywine sent to me from @HeartofMiami .


Not overly sweet with deep roasty malt and tobacco. Lighter than it appears. Very tasty!

 

Another one off the wanted list, Sunday Morning Stout. Thick and chewy, just on the verge of being overpowering. Very good, but probably the last beer I'd reach for in the morning.

This is a new local'ish holiday stout from Goldhorn in CLE....pretty tasty!



bit different than all the typical holiday beers from Great Lakes, Thirsty Dog, Hoppin' Frog and Fatheads....I like this "dark side"

 

There are no guidelines other than the BeerAdvocate Code of Conduct. (Hopefully there will be less nudity this year.) Since it’s the only way to score, getting as many “likes” as possible is how prizes are won.

 

Normally when another man sends you a lubricant in the mail you should be concerned, but when it’s @Lingenbrau it’s par for the course.



Gold at the World Beer Cup. Damn worthy of it. No wonder he sent it to me. This is way too good for him.

 

Clown Shoes Bubble Farm, drinking nicely. Done with work for this week and only 3 more working days this year! Headed to Tampa Sunday to see TSO that night.....shopping for after party beer this weekend. Cheers mates!

Plan Bee Toddy. A 6% wild ale brewed with honey & lemon verbena and aged in whiskey barrels. Pretty good.

but until then i'm enjoying the rain and drinking this pilsner from maplewood brewing, who just showed up here in stl a couple of weeks ago. its the color of my morning piss but it's tasty
