Trees Lounge was partially filmed in my home town - many of the exterior shots are recognizable - heck, I remember the actual bar, though I never went there... *seedy* lol

Never met Steve, but I did meet two of his brothers... *shrugs*

Anyways, he's one of the greats, a true actor's actor...

Gotta start thinking about what I'll be drinking for the game...

All of the beers here are too good for me. I buy them only to send or to pour down the drain while self loathing.

Unholy combo?

 

Excellent NEIPA. Nice head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, 6.3%. Great Citra, Mosaic, Cascade profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hops; great wheat/oat/malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness from lingering resin dryness. Delicious as expected. 4

Kashmir a Cashmere DIPA from commonwealth brewing

 

Schlafly Ibex Series Barrel-Aged Pumpkin Ale, 9,5% ABV. Pours dark brown, with a slight off-white head. Nose is incredible pumpkin, rum, vanilla, and nutmeg. Taste follows, with slight sweetness, and almost no bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. This beer manages to pull off what Avery Rumpkin couldn't - an outstanding Rum Barrel Pumpkin beer.

 

I saw someone post one these @ the beer haul page and thought, the bottle looks cool, I bet it's gotta be good. so when I saw them in Nevada the other day I picked up a couple and I'm not disappointed...great Belgian dark. Finishes with a real subtle sweetness that is very addicting. Whoever got it...Thanks
