    My "local" bottle shop just recently started getting Trappist ales in distro. Decided to start off with a classic I don't have often enough.

    Clearly the most gentle pour in Orval history. :wink:

    Very few pictures from last night's Steven Wilson show; I'm more of a fan of experiencing the moment than capturing it. Still, it was worth grabbing a couple of shots to show just how close and intimate his shows are - something that can't really be replicated at the big metal shows I also love so much.

    Back to sleep after 6am shift and a trip out to a small porkchop restaurant on 159th and Pulaski in Midlothian. They really should serve this it's a missed opportunity in my opinion

    Awesome documentary that included a lot of things I didn’t know prior to watching .
    Kind of surprised that they never mentioned his performances in the move “Across The Universe”

    Watching the grill from inside my apartment at the moment. I should have waited to put the bacon on, because it was a huge mess.

    Hopefully I've got it better now. Low and slow on the ribs. Drinking Ahnapee Brewing Little Soldier.

    Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Chili Hazelnut Break. I consider EMJ and IBB in 16oz cans to be good value (at least around here)... this is nearly the same price as straight IBB, just a pepper kick added.

    Bell's Amber Ale. Since Bell's hit NJ a while back, this one has become one of my regular beers. Very good amber ale at 5.8% and goes well with a cigar. Their Best Brown Ale is nice as well and recently stocked up on that seasonal brew to last into the summer.
