I'll endorse Swinging Bridge in River Falls over Hop & Barrel and Pitchfork in Hudson. That said, I'll endorse Bobtown in Roberts over Swinging Bridge. I have Bobtown as a borderline top 20 brewery in the Twin Cities area, with Swinging Bridge on the good side of average (probably low end of top 50 of the approximately 125 Twin Cities area breweries), Hop & Barrel slightly on the bad side of average, and Pitchfork decidedly below average.

It's closed this weekend, but, since we're talking Western Wisconsin breweries, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Dave's BrewFarm. It's easily one of the best and smartest breweries in the Upper Midwest, but, because of its small size, remoteness, and the vagaries of fashion, it doesn't generate anywhere close to the chatter it merits.

Wow, thanks for the kind words! The BrewFarm is quite the anomaly in the brewery / taproom world. I am blessed with an amazing customer base, and THE best brewing water in the region! Looking forward to a stellar 2019 - come on out for a visit sometime soon!

    Humbly yours,
