    Finally settling in for the evening...I believe this may be my first beer from Verdant Brewing Co., Falmouth, UK which comes highly recommended to me - another in the “Beer + Art Series (2018) 06 - DIPA” tipping the scales at 8%:





    Murky golden paste colour; white foam with good retention and moderate heavy lacing. Nose is tropical fruit - pineapple guava mango followed by orange and tangerine. Taste is bitter orange peel and sweet malt; bitter fruit juice middle; phenolic finish. Medium plus full (oats) feel, almost juicy; medium plus astringency from hops (Columbus, HBC431, Simcoe, Loral & Huell Mellon); moderate carbonation. Overall unbalanced and another NEIPA wanna be that is acid, sweet and bitter; it’s a yeasty bitter fruit cocktail breakfast juice, and a sweet watery mellonball shooter all rolled into a boozy IPA - thank God the liquid is light enough so I can finish the 16oz can...better than Wylam’s pale yesterday, but not by much...Cheers from gusty Edinburgh!

    Gee...what a surprise...another cracker from Jack’s Abby. Feeling like shit from last night so this is hitting the spot. Really, really bready, a bit of a snap and a lemony finish. This is amazing, no bullshit. Gotta go to work, see you suckas later.
