I forgot my phone every time we went to the beach, including today, so I had my better half take the pictures and send them to me, hence the last posting. It won’t happen again!

This completes the tasters of all the beers here at LIC. They're doing good work here. Some BIG IPAs that really stack up well.

Sitting down for dinner and my last - no, I'm quite serious tonight - brew of the night. May as well make it a big one, though. :grinning:

I actually really wanted to try out another new brew, but I'm trying to string them along and make it last.

    Cheers and good night, BAs!

With a day off from work tomorrow it's a good time to repeat a beer that I just tried for the first time earlier this week. In the glass is the St. Bretta Citrus Saison from Crooked Stave in Colorado.

The aromas/flavors on this beer show some coriander, lemongrass and what seems to bit of clove. There’s also just a hint of funk from the Brett and way in the background there seems to be some grassy/earthy bitterness. Definitely drinkable and enjoyable.

I’m an overrater. You are not.

You saying it’s the best beer you’ve had in a while has made this my new whale.

Trip to Total Wine netted me some beer, some eats, and a li'l bottle of bourbon...
Food and bourbon aside, a quartet of new brews: Skeleton Plot Oak IPA from Pipeworks, Ballast Point's Spruce Tip Sculpin (man, I haven't had any iteration of Sculpin in quite some time - used to be real faves), DuClaw's Devil's Milk barleywine, because I feel like I should have had that by now, and Barrel-Aged 4Beans, which I thought I'd had, but apparently I've "bean" wrong *lol*

But I've waited long enough, BA - it's time for...

    Snow on the Maple Tree
    from Clown Shoes...
Stout aged in maple bourbon barrels; 2018 vintage with an 11.25% abv...

Aromas of maple permeate the roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and bourbon notes, and preview a wonderfully maple-forward imperial stout... Roasted chocolaty malts form the base, with dark espresso and molasses notes, silky vanilla, and sweet bourbon all helping to promote the smooth maple flavor... Body is medium-full, smooth, and a little bit sticky 'round the corners... Bitterness is very mild, with just a brush of char, and while this is a sweet beer, it is nowhere near cloying and has good restraint...

Very pleased - a real winner...

Ah, hell - been fucking around long enough, I'm already finishing it off...
    Feel that finishing pour, BA...

    Ah... Second pour pic...

Stay true to your gods, BA...

    Cheers...

Back for a second, and for more self-abuse. And it's bout damn time IPA again. This beer has... .grown on me - quite a bit. Cheers... also picked up "el Jefe" - their coffee/cinnamon stout which might get opened... might.

This beer is clearer than glass, and it’s delicious. I love the series and this iteration.

A one-and-done kinda night, might as well go for a 10%er so this DIPA from Nightmare Brewing will most certainly do. Drawn and Quartered, not for the squeamish. The beer, though, is delicious.

Fordham and Dominion's Gypsy Lager.......Its okay, on the sweeter side, some off flavors to start this one off.

Jai Lai IPA. I tried this for the first time about a year ago while on vacation in Florida. Now available in Wisconsin so it isn’t as special as it was then, but still a top notch beer to have in the rotation,
