What beer are you drinking now? #2271

Everyone always talks about Wrench or Torque Wrench when Industrial Arts is mentioned, but almost no one mentions Power Tools.

But then is just hit me, the more people Don't know about Power Tools the more I have to drink, so after all, this beer really, really sucks!

Outstanding sour. Aromas and flavors of big sour/tart/tangy cherries, limes, lemon, orange, fruit skin/pits, citrus peel/zest, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, graham cracker, white bread malts; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness, no pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.8%. Not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy cherries, vibrant limes, Lacto, and wheat/oat/malts against acidity. They have been nailing all the sours I've had. Would get another pack.

Pretty tasty brew, bought another by mistake today, wanted the tropical smoothie instead, but this hit's the spot well.

Your Christmas tree is still up and you're watching a Hallmark movie?!?!? I think that you and I would get along just fine. Yep, just fine.

 

Short's/Madtree Collab. Great blonde ale! Flavors of big lemon, lime, orange juice/zest, lemongrass, pear, red apple, cinnamon, coriander, peppercorn, clove, allspice, and wood; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bready malts; herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; pepper spiciness; and slight fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts, some sticky spice, and slight fruit acids in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter/spicy dryness, no astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5.4%. Not watery at all. Pretty much perfectly balanced between citrus juice/zest, spices, and pale/wheat malts; with mild fruity yeast in the background. Glad I got the pack as expected. OH was not as impressive, but still enjoyable.
