Just passed this one up this morning at the shop. Unfortunately, Pennsylvania only lets you buy two sixers of singles. It was a close call, but I got a couple of Bell's The Oracle instead. Hopefully, they're still fresh enough to make the choice worth it.

Sitting down with, what is for me an old classic, Weyerbacher Merry Monks. I love a tripel, whenever/wherever I can find it, and Weyerbacher puts out a quality one. Coriander, clove, banana are the main notes. I love this one to death.

Canned 09/21/16 and tasting like velvety chocolate/bourbon dessert. Something to enjoy while I prepare some soup for later.

[IMG] Poured into my Nordic pint glass canned 12/17/18. Pours a very hazy yellow orange with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves gobs of thick rings all over the sides of the glass, as it slowly settles showing amazing retention. 4.5

Smell is apricot, papaya, some herbal marijuana, pineapple, and bitter grapefruit resin. 4.25

Taste follows this thing is sharpe on the tongue and palate starts out with some tropical apricot, papaya, and pineapple before it hits you square in the puss with dank marijuana and puckering grapefruit that lingers until the next sip. 4.25

Mouthfeel is on the large side, the correct amount of life for the style, rather soft and sticky, and goes down simple enough, but more flavor than its 8% ABV. 4.5

Overall this is an excellent example of the style, really bold and impressive. 4.25

[IMG] A very tasty NEDIPA from Bunker Brewing Company out of Maine. Pours a very hazy orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves loads of thick lace behind, canned on 11/14/18. 4.25

Smell is guava, tangerine, pineapple, and grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows guava, tangerine, pineapple, with a massive hit of bitter grapefruit that lingers on the palate long after each sip. 4

Mouthfeel is pretty big, soft gentle carbonation, a touch sticky but not really dry, and at 8% ABV it is bold but goes down easy enough. 4.25

Overall this is a very nice NEDIPA, that has a bold bitterness along with some nice tropical flavors. 4

Trying to walk a fine line between losing weight and drinking beer so didn't drink for 2 day. Yay what an accomplishment. So decided to drive over to the park across from three floyds and walk on a 10 degree farenheit day after getting some cash for dropping family off at midway to avoid parking. Thought I'd be sober enough to drive home after walking back. Nope. Still paid $10 for a lyft. Call it fucking lift assholes for drunk people trying to use abc order on the app drawer. Had an SRB and Blott out the Sun which seems appropriate. Also had some butte beer which was free because it just came on tap

When I first saw this can, I was sure it was an Against The Grain beer, is it just me? It's actually a collaboration between British brewers Left Handed Giant, Magic Rock and DEYA. Nothing out of the ordinary, but quite a nice brew. It's getting harder and harder to find fresh, good IPAs around here, so I was quite happy about this one.

Bock from August Schell. I always look forward to finding a couple of other seasonal bocks from around the region, but this one is the one I buy the most of.

I knew I would buy at least one 6-pack when I saw this on the shelves. I'm down with supporting a good cause.
