They taste very similar. I prefer ssssap over Super Sap. Honestly, both are one of Treehouse’s best beers on the larger system

I think Super Sap is considerably better than SSSappp but both are delicious.

 

In almost every instance I find the Very/Super beers better than the DDH versions.

 

Did the ole can roll on my triple bright. IMO It did "refresh" the taste throughout the whole can.

 

Yeah...Super Sap is a much different, and IMO much better beer than stutter Sap.

 

Can lineup is insane today!

 

IG story shows them pouring concrete in a manner that does not look like the additional parking space we already knew about. Not a pavement or construction expert here but it looks like deeper slots for a building with interior supports or a garage? Ideas/rumors?

 

SSSappp is more resinous/chalky/grainy/zesty/herbal/rindy/dank because of the extra hops, but it's not as egregious as I'm making it sound. You get that on top of the typical Sap flavor and while I wouldn't call it subtle, it's far from overbearing.

Super Sap seems to be a revved up Sap, amplifying the fruity character moreso than SSS, giving it further depth of flavor which is complemented by the higher ABV.

 

Waste water treatment construction

 

Either related to the waste water treatment or possibly breaking ground on the building expansion they outlined earlier this year?

 

Super Sap is one of the best IPAs available (for me at least). I've had it in my fridge the same time as Sssappp and Super Sap has way more of a juice bomb profile. If you drank them blind you would not think they were part of the same lineage.

 

That’s the yeast doing that. US05 clears no matter what you do.

 

Huge issue: I'm not sure how to order the stutter beers. I ordered b-b-b-Bright the other day as well as a-a-a-lter ego. I wasn't sure whether the can guy or the bartender thought it was humorous or annoying (maybe both). I may shy away from ordering them in the future or at least until I am comfortable with a solution.

 

When ordering BBBright, make a sound like a gat in the hood. Otherwise, just stutter and follow up with "...or however you say it" and shrug, then laugh as the bartender laughs. How to Order Tree House Beers 101.

 

I've heard "Triple A" and "Triple B" are the preferred abbreviations.

 

Or just hand them the paper with how many you want of each offering filled out.....

Triple A Alter Ego/Triple B Bright would actually technically be quadruple A/B, no?
