Throw in the words “crotch” and “tweak” and I’d swear my wife had taken over your accounts.

“As I take the first sip of Claire’s Thirsty, it hits me right in the side of my cheek. Panties drop, nipples hardened. Creamy and moist mouthfeel.”

    And???

"groin" is up there as well. I cringe every time I watch the Breaking Bad episode when Walt is cleaning up the gasoline Jessie threw all over his house, and Walt tells his family the gas hose malfunctioned, "there no 'chunk', gas sprayed over all over my clothes, my groin".

i wonder if there will be any noticable difference betweem the cans brewed in Michigan and the chicago brewed tap version

Great questions. Let’s figure it out for science.

FT: 1 (clearly superior) Chicago Clare’s Thirsty
ISO: 2+ (Insert generic dig at Michigan) MI Clare’s Thirsty

Can the "+" be a boat for me to tow around their state at overly aggressive speeds?

I had all 3 yesterday on draft (Clare’s Thirsty at Haymarket, Deth by Currants at Revolution Brewpub and Bramble Rye at GI Clybourne (they also had Reserve ‘18 on draft)). I’d say I enjoyed Clare’s Thirsty the most, but Deth by Currants was better than I remember. I also like Bramble Rye but it was behind the other two.

Weirdly enough yes. It tastes a little like a snickers bar to me.

    That's a long day!

And yeah, I loved the can of Clare's I had. I'm not sure if I like it as much/more than Currants, but it's up there for sure.

I want Haymarket to do well (and it seems like they are), but it also feels inevitable that some year soon, they're going to be the next Chicago brewery whose BA scene blows up. Their stuff is too good, and on-tap it's also pretty damn inexpensive (it was, what, $8 or 10 for a 10 oz. pour of 37 month).

I'm hoping they go back to growler fills soon, and I hope that those fills are easy to get.

Kind of happened 'by accident' too. Went to pick up Clare's Thirsty Ale right at open because I had a friend who was retiring and leaving town on Sunday, so we planned on taking him out to Revolution (his choice). They ended up having Deth by Currants, Cafe Deth and reg. Deth. Then while we were drinking and eating there, one of us noticed that GI Clybourne had Reserve '18 on draft. So decided to go there next and then they also happened to have Bramble Rye. Also, I had all the drinks I listed in this post and some multiples of (and I also had the 37-month aged at Haymarket). Unsurprisingly, Sunday was a waste of a day.

Rumor has it you were just drinking as much stuff as possible to get rid of the taste of Turtledogg.

Still didn’t work! I think I tasted it this morning as I was typing a buddy a message describing it.

That sounds like a high abv infected coffee stout from Avery.

I remember this one hanging around a bit last year, and guess that'll also be the case this year. Heck even Abraxas hung around. I think the price point for some of these non-BA stouts is getting a little rich for people given the number of comparable options.
