What beer are you drinking now? #2286

Going to have to take a few vacation days next week to get into that big beauty.

 

In between drinks. No post. Just from a flash.

 

6pks of 12oz cans? As a full time offering? Niiice..

 

First review as usual. This was insane! Fantastic head retention/thick soapy lacing for a sour. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy/sour/tart/tangy pineapples, mango, melon, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, raspberry, strawberry, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate honey, candi sugar, wheat, white bread dough malt sweetness; lighter notes of oaken vanilla, pepper, leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit/wine tang, and light yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/bready malts; some lactic acid, fruit/wine tang, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acid/tangy/tannin dryness; zero puckering sourness. Dangerously smooth, not overly lactic, minimal warming 8.5%. Amazing balance of juicy/jammy fruit, Brett/Bacteria complexity, and bready malts; with perfect wine barrel integration. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A bit more malty than some others, but this was the best one so far. All Arclight sours have been consistently amazing so far. Still have a couple more in the fridge. 4.5

Yet another great DIPA from Collective Arts! Oh so crushable for 8%! Simply dangerous. They've always been a great brewery, but lately they've gotten even better.
@DoctorZombies and @Ocalafox , it should please you to know that Collective Arts has recently started distributing to Florida. I'm not sure what all stores they're available at, but I've seen on Instagram that they've been received at FR Bottle Shop (previously Craft Beer Cellar) in Brandon, The Beer Rev in Lakeland, and Craft Beer City in Jupiter. It might be something to look into.
