Big stout in a little can. Saint Errant Cauallier with Marshmallows. Marshmallows, peanuts, and fudge both in the smell and taste. Velvety mouthfeel. 8 oz is the perfect size for this. Cheers!

    Happy Birthday!

Good to know! I plan on moving to Florida and it makes me soooo happy to know that Collective Arts has become available there.

Delicious Cream ale as always, one of the favorites. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red apple, citrus peel/zest, cracker, corn, and white bread; with lighter notes of herbal, floral, grassy, peppery hop earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy, spicy, citrus peel/zesty bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 5.5%. Nice classic C dry hop flavors, but still stays true to style. Not as yeasty as others I've had in the style though. Will keep grabbing singles when I feel like having a cream ale. Which is any day of the year. Blackrocks is definitely a top favorite local brewery, regardless of style.

Absolutely. Collective Arts has risen to a top ten favorite brewery for me. Their beers are amazing and their can artwork is second to none.

That first one went down awfully quick.
At 5% it was gone in minutes.
Now, something that may last more than a minute.
    At 8%, I hope so.
    Cheers!!!

Their importing office is in my hometown of Stowe, VT. One of the owners has a second home here and their art director, who is from VT, lives here with his young family. Interesting concept of bringing beer, music, and art together; and it's working! Great people, great beer.
    Cheers!

Always excellent. Flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, honey, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with balanced cinnamon, ginger, clove, and herbal spice earthiness. Hints of cherry/raisin yeast fruitiness. Light herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel; with light spice stickiness. Bit of dryness, no astringency. Very smooth and drinkable. I prefer the Thirsty Dog version, but this is always delicious every year regardless. Perfectly balanced bready malt, honey, and spices; with mild complementing fruity English yeast notes. Still have plenty left, my parents gave me a bunch of it last month for free.

Good gravy man, quit playing the "self deprivation card". Age is just number and you both are always welcomed at our house. I look forward to meeting up with you both again!

Definitely thinking a one-and-done tonight after this one, at least with beer ....the rare 500ml bottle for me here, but I thought it was interesting enough to warrant a buy...Singlecut's Heavy Boots of Lead, barrel-aged this year in rye whiskey barrels with Oregon honey....a great looking stout with quite a bit going on, but something just feels...messy. I don't know...something is disjointed here. Maybe between the rye barrel and honey, the profile wasn't coming together. It's ultimately a fine, drinkable BA stout, but not of the standard I'd expect of a Singlecut brew. Cheers, all!
