I'm not sure what went on with this. For the first five or six minutes you needed to input a code. Then it was gone.

They did reply that the BW will hit distro so I imagine the stout will too. As mentioned it has in the past as well. Also, Binny's already seems to have it in their system so it will hit distro in all likelihood.

I did see these little cans in the store the other day and the price was hiiiiiigh. I can't remember exactly but I want to say it was like $16-18 range.

Easy pass for me, but hope this new packaging/pricing doesn't become the norm.

Marketing the beer as a gusher, that is odd.

So technically a porter, but the Double Dees Rye Barrel stuff at Imperial Oak is delicious. Regular and coconut/pecan variant.

BA Maple-EE from Lil Beaver is an absolute killer. It has big coffee and maple notes screaming out of the glass which cover up the barrel a bit on the nose. Thankfully, the barrel comes through when you taste it, but in an unusual order for me.

Normally when I have a BA stout with coffee, the barrel takes a back seat to the coffee up front, and is very present on the finish, then lingers a bit. With the Maple-EE I was hit with the barrel right away, which turned into the maple, and finished with a great, robust, coffee that stays with you a bit.

Crafted had three bottles left on Saturday afternoon, and I almost went full greedy and cleaned them out, but stuck with one extra. This blows BA Bean Spirit out of the water.

Late to the punch on this but if I were dictator, not putting BA stouts in 6oz cans would be a capital offense.

Why, so that I have to drink almost an entire 4-pack to feel like I had a beer? :stuck_out_tongue:

12 oz. is bare minimum for me. I'd be fine with some of the more expensive beers doing 6-8, but anything under 12 makes me feel like I was just getting into the beer.

I'd like to crack a stout some time at my place solo. Being forced to dome 23 ouces of 14% BA stout is too much. On the bright side I'm probably much healthier for it.

While I agree that not drinking a bomber is better for you (and I now usually feel really guilty when I clear one out, like I did Saturday night), I think GI kind of has the sweet spot with their weird 16.9 oz bottles. Rev's stuff is fine at 12 ounces, but the extra ~5 or so in the BCBS bottles makes me feel like I got my "full" serving of diabetes for the night.

Yeah I decided I have too many stouts and just started cracking them open. Yeah 22oz... I don't finish it all, maybe drink 8-12oz, sometimes around 15oz but that is it, the rest just goes down the drain. Don't care how rare it is. I'm clearing these out.

Also not buying any more stouts until they are down to a reasonable level.

If I were a dictator the only time BA stouts would be in a can is for a beer enema....

I finally had a BA Hostile Harry I've been staring at for the last 2 years for that reason. I have way too much BA shit, and I also don't just want to rotate all my Rev cans.

I swear by this. Most BA stouts I've had are much better the 2nd day after being recapped. Had a Prop 17 recently that was 10x times better on day 2.
