That's very true. I did a recent home brew with a ton of cocoa nibs and if I hadn't made it myself I would have looked very skeptically at someone claiming there hadn't been coffee added (and that's not even counting roast from the malt, which I assume was low because it was all extract, but maybe not).

What probably matters more is the type of coffee. I prefer a thick earthy French roast, but a lot of trendy coffee these days is lighter and more fruity/floral and acidic, which is a train I'm happy to let roll on by.

The menu says 1.5 oz for high ABV but when in a flight they always look like the same amount as the other glasses.

That may be verbiage they need to make public for CA state law mumbo jumbo..
Everytime I get a flight they are all the same amount.

Yes, that's what I've been noticed since they started the 1.5oz taster.

I wish! That’s the best IPA The Bruery/Terreux/Offshoot has ever brewed (and yes, I know it’s a lager...)

I wouldn't be surprised if they got away from the name "taster" at this price point and just call it a 2.3oz pour....<jk> 3oz pour.

Pretty sure we have the same glasses at home. I just checked and they are 4 ounces. Agree that all pours are about the same, but usually seem more than half full. I’ve always gone with 2 ounces when I’m counting (or three when I’ve had a kind bruetender).

I think this is a total cash grab. Once people realize the price difference, we will start seeing the Bruery less and less crowded. I go to the Bruery pretty often but will be going less now. Especially with so many options in the area.

I think a lot of people are over it and/or simply dont care.

Let your money do the talking if you feel negative about it. I personally think $15 pounder cans is asanine but others in this thread are angry they cant buy more.

Do you not like BA stout cans from the bruery or in general?

Have you had any BA Stout cans from Modern Times for 12oz , $16.25 ?

Ive only had 2 stout cans from the Bruery. Bakery which was decent at half the price and Double chocolate sprinkles which I was not a big fan of.

    Negative on modern times.

If you are willing to inform me, im open to learning what makes bakery cost half the price. Both are barrel aged high alcohol beers with coconut... right?

If you’re willing to pay $35 for 25 oz then paying about $23 for 16 oz is appropriate from a math standpoint. It’s about 1/3 less beer.

I definitely feel dumb spending $16 on a 12 oz can, and rarely if ever pay that much per oz in general. Which is why I never buy them from MT and I'll usually just grab a small pour when I'm picking up other stuff.
