Wrapping up a week in the Dominican republic... Have drunk at least a sixer of both presidente and pres lite so far, across cans and draft. Not as offensive out of can versus bottle, of course.

 

Next round here ba. This is Head Nod, a hoppy kolsh featuring citra & neslon. Very crisp and light with good citrus flavors. Not in love with it but decent,

Cellarmaker x Toppling Goliath: Anthropogenic Extinction. A 7.0% IPA with Strata, Simcoe and Sabro.

This one is exactly what you think when you have a Cellarmaker beer. It's a new-school WCIPA that's super clean and crisp, yet has an explosion of fruity hop character with low bitterness. This one is mostly pineapple, melon, a spritz of lemon, and a hint of that cocounut-y character from the Sabro which I've never had before.

 

This stuff excellent, cheers all.

 

Octane Overlord. Imperial Stout from De Moersleutel Brewery (NL).

Compared to the Trouble Sleep that I had yesterday (the beer that is), this one is less coffee and more chocolate. Still a nice bitterness in aftertaste. Nice!

I got back from the DR last week, only had Presidente from draft and it was better than I expected, and trust me, I had a LOT of them. Beautiful beaches, but man, that first real beer I had when I got back was heaven.

Today I had to go to Worcester MA for work and finished early so hit up Wormtown Brewery for some quick samples. Here’s Be Hoppy



One of the earlier West Coast IPAs in NE and still hits the spot for me. Wormtown in general gets overlooked these days but they have a solid line up of well made beers.

Was listening to big l playlist yesterday... Awesome artist taken from us too soon.. How we go from him to cardi b winning a Grammy leaves me speechless

 

It's a bit early, but I'm sorta jet-lagged. In the opposite direction. Feels like noon.

Anyway, picked up this little gem in Portland on Tuesday. I prefer the sours and stouts, but this one is quite tasty.

How is it? The only Revision I tried was a can that someone on BA gave to me as his favorite Revision beer (Planetary Fog) and I thought it was the most generic forgettable beer I'd rather not have had. But people in the Pacific forum swear by them!
