    Verified. I've met him before. Shifty eyes, sweaty palms, rambling about adjuncts Vs additives, relative VRUs, bad 90s music. Not to mention the broken promises. All around an uncomfortable experience.

    There have been 5 batches I looked this up just before the August 2018 batches came out - here's what I posted in the old thread.
    Below are the dates Beer Temple got Galaxy Bowl in (checked their Instagram), this generally matches Hop Butcher's tweets and Beer Cellar as well:
    1. October 6, 2016
    2. November 16, 2016
    3. May 25, 2017
    4. March 8, 2018

    Yeah I have a 8/22/18 check in that states it’s a day old beer. So assuming it was canned 8/22/18

    Thoughts on this batch of Mega Bite-
    1- This smells like what you would smell when you walked into a brewery 5+ years ago. Back when simcoe was more prominent because we didn't have all the modern boutique hops.
    2-The base tastes so much like Double Grid and Tavern Cut. Mouthfeel and body were there, just substitute the simcoe for Vic or Mosaic and you can totally see it while drinking it. Maybe in a few weeks the simcoe's slight green will mellow and this will drink just like those two...though who can wait. This is tasty now.

    I’m pretty impressed with Wintry Mix. It’s anti-hype. Just a really solid, crisp, clean brown. Just the right amount of malt, toast, and sweetness that isn’t cloying. A very well-made beer and good example of the style.

    There is no Simcoe in this batch tho. Citra and Amarillo. Agree it’s tasty now.
    Normalize The Signal is their next drop this week.

    I haven't gotten on board with the milkshake train, but this one I'm curious. Love mint shakes (Oberweiss Peppermint shake is amazing) so I might bite on this one.

    Yeah, realized that I posted the wrong hop about an hour after I posted...put simcoe in a home brew early and had that on the brain when I posted. It is amarillo in MB.
