Okay, let's take the Shamrock Shake and now imagine pouring your favorite citra beer in it....

 

I'm in. Actually, we hit McDonald's on Sundays after my kids swim class. I'll try it and report back.

 

Anyone else think "The Secret of the Ooze" is a better name for this beer?

 

Stopped at Miskatonic last night. It's pretty good, mint is very subtle. Don't know if I could drink more than one in a sitting though. Justin really knows how to make those milkshake IPAs, Reminded me a bit of Whisk from Ram.

 

Just popped up at Beer Cellar. Any other suburb sightings?

Haven't opened it yet. It'll be my green beer on Sunday for St. Patty's Day.

 

I'm trying it tonight.

 

I tried it last night. The mint was subtle so it actually kind of worked. I had low expectations going in and it exceeded them. Sort of like the Strawberry Banana Marbles where I thought the banana was a little odd, but I still drank it.

Now, if you gave me a choice, I'm drinking Blazed Orange, Hawaiian Vibes, etc. over this one. But it was solid and the green color is a definite cool novelty factor.

 

I saw someone open one and share one at Maplewood last night, and I'll be the one to say it. I don't need a novelty of green beer in the craft scene. Flavors like mint are fine, but I lost a little respect for HB making a puke green beer as a gimmick. Save that for bro bars and Miller Lite drinkers of the world.

 

This is hardly the biggest gimmick in craft beer, lighten up

 

I don't care that it's green; I just didn't like it.
