    16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch egg shell white head over a cloudy yellow-orange body with some sticky lacing. Nose of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), sweet citrus (orange, ruby red grapefruit), and slight dank pine. Taste mirrors nose somewhat with a citrus pith bitterness and pine resin bitterness on the finish. Nice feel and overall, solid IPA, glad to try this, and cheers to Rob, my TH guy, for the hookup!

Now succumbing to temptation and sipping 2019 KBS. Might pull the trigger on a 4 pack later in the week.

Yeah, this is old, but it was only a buck. Can't beat it. Doesn't taste bad, either. Cheers!

The bar was kinda slow, but look at all who have showed up in the last 10 minutes, including @Shroud0fdoom with my favorite high ABV lager! I’m now drinking TG’s “Fire, Skulls & Money”:

Revisiting an old classic .... partly because it's been a long time, and partly because I need to stop spending so much money on beer. :flushed:

Ending with Weyerbacher Quad. Glad to see an American brewery stay so faithful to the Belgian style, no crazy adjuncts or barrel aging, just solid beer.

Sante Adairius Rustic Ales Of This World. Just a 10% TIPA with Simcoe, Mosaic, Enigma, and Galaxy. canned 1/23/19.

The last time I had this when it was fresh, it was crazy green, which I enjoyed. A couple months later, it's definitely mellowed out a bit as it comes off as more fruity and malty, but the green character is still there - just a lot less so. There's more bitterness now too, from what I recall. So it's tasting more like what you'd think a TIPA would taste like?

    Happy Monday, everyone!

Just curious... what do you think it tastes like? I ask because I've had it (not particularly a fan) but I can't even describe what I'm tasting.

Well, I'm hard pressed to nail down a specific taste, too. My first can just seemed a mix of bitterness and acidic sharpness over a mild cereal grain taste. Today, I thought the beer was a bit more mellowed out yet still had that astringent, citrus peel quality over all, still with some fair light malt flavor.

Like you, this isn't my kind of beer. It seems like so many hazy IPAs -- mostly giving harsh bitterness and flavors like grapefruit and orange peel without the benefit of a sweet counterpoint.
