Yes. I love the beer they hauled back just for me, it was very much appreciated... but the hunt is such a big part of it. My 17 year old texted me last night and said, “The Eagle has landed, this place is scetchy...”. I so wanted to be there!

 

My first beer since last Saturday after getting hit with the flu bug. Time to celebrate Toppling Goliath's arrival in Indiana with a King Sue. Cheers amigos.

 

Good to hear, I read some reviews from last year's batch and decided to hold off. Might grab some now.

Poured into a 13 oz Foam tulip glass not sure when it was canned but coming from this source with in the month. Pours a hazy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves nice thick rings of lace as it slowly settles into a collar of foam around the edges of the glass. 4.25


Smell is apricot, papaya, honey dew, mandarin, and just a little grapefruit rind. 3.75


Taste follows papaya, honey dew, mandarin, apricot, and very little grapefruit bitterness. 3.75


Mouthfeel is bigger than average, moderate life and fairly soft, not dry, and at 8% extremely approachable. 4


Overall it may be the fact that I had a 11 day old Cloud Drop before, this is slightly underwhelming but not terrible by any means. 3.75
